Can these be burned using the regular DVD writer on most home PCs? Note: Double-Layered DVD R/RW holds 8.5 GB of data as against the regular single layer which holds 4.2.

Yuh haffi use one made to burn double-layer disk if you want to record di full capacity. Double layer, is not the same as two sided media. They are actually single layer disks with two sides. Di single layer burner unit naa goh wuk.
