PRINTER ISSUE

Hey folks

It's an old one that works just fine. hp deskjet 940c. It prints emails REALLY SMALL (the fonts that is). Mi a try a ting but mi know seh unu are de experts.

Prints WORD docs fine, just anything from the net is printed really small. [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/helpsmilie.gif[/img]

Okay so hear wah. I think I temporarily solved the issue. Was trying to print from my yahoo. I clicked on the PRINT ICON/BUTTON within yahoo mail itself instead of going to FILE-PRINT etc.

YAHOO opens the email into another window and prints it normally.

What u tink a should do for other docs on the net doh?

Which browser are you using?

Check to see if you have shrink-to-fit setting activated. If you are trying to print the frames, along with the article, you could run into the problem you described.

Yahoo, probably gave you a printer friendly version, which is what you should normally look for when you print from the web, so you dont get all the other junk along with what you want to actually print.

Do you mean desktop as in screen layout, or desktop as in PC workstation?

I am going to assume that you are using IE-7. As I indicated above, you need to change from shrink-to-fit. Go under the menu and select File > Print Preview > click the down arrow next to "shrink-to-fit" > select custom > then type in 100%, and press the enter key > now close the winow.

You could also set to landscape print mode to be able to print more of the page width.
