I need to convert a company logo that was created in excel into a .jpg file.
Excel 2007 doesnt have jpg as a save as option.
Does anyone know of another way for me to do this?

can you copy the graphic (as a whole)? If so, then you can paste it into 'paint' and save it as a .jpg file from there

There is no way to create a graphic using Excel Code that is visible without been rendered. It would have been rendered to a bitmap or vector then embed in Excel so if you are working in Excel you need to edit the graphic so you can save it to another location.
I will test my theory because I have never used graphics in my limited use of Excel.Comment

i guess that should have been my question - is it possible to render the file into a bitmap from Excel? I have tried all of my photo programs as well to see if they can convert the file to a bitmap, and no such luck.

Try doing a screen print and copy it into one of your Photo programs. You should be able to crop and save that as a .jpgaka ChurchDude. I want that moniker back! Until then....

That's weird. Tried something similar and it worked on my end.aka ChurchDude. I want that moniker back! Until then....

maybe I didnt do it the same CEW?
I used my print screen button and then opened just the basic paint program. That's what I understood from your post above, correct?
Let me try again and if it doesnt work, I will email you the file Compry.

Use Shift+PrintScrn, that should copy the active window to the clipboard, then go to the picture program and do, Edit->Paste (or whatever other method you use). That should copy the image from the clipboard into the program from where you can crop/edit to get the part of the image you need.

I gave up and got Compry to convert it for me

You can use <span style="font-weight: bold">irfanview</span> to capture the area bring it <span style="font-weight: bold">irfanview</span> then crop it and if needs be enhanced it.
There are other free programs that you use to do capture and clean up.Comment

Tuff Gong, I copied the image from the Excel file...pasted it in Paint, saved as a jpeg file then cropped it in Irfanview.Comment
