That's what I figured, but the subject said "Opera OS" and 'OS' usually stands for 'operating system'
.
Tried Opera sometime ago, and it's nice but I had already settled on Firefox as my browser of choice. Plus, is it still adware?aka ChurchDude. I want that moniker back! Until then....

<span style="color: #660000">Opera is a browser, not a very common one, but very secure. I was reading a book on Internet security, and it rated the browsers according to the number of security related issues, and Opera had the fewest problems. Then again, Opera being uncommon, would be least exposed.
Yet it does have a lot of security features, like allowing you to clear cache, cookies, and other private info automatically, if you configure it as such. It also allows for a more precise control over the cookies that your browser receives, again, if you configure in such a way. The widgets that come with it are <span style="font-style: italic">killer</span> too, especially the weather widget.
Firefox is better, I think, and it is faster than Opera, although less secure. It is also more common, and almost on par with Internet Explorer in popularity.</span>

<span style="color: #660000">Firefox, and Opera, will not work with some websites, because the coding on those websites wasn't designed for other browsers, except IE. Some DHTML codes are supported only by IE, and some DHTML codes are not supported by IE. Also the rendering engines for different browsers are not the same (for eg. IE uses the Trident engine), these control how a web page displays, within a browser. Finally, a web designer may design script that works with only one browser, mainly because of laziness, and also because most web users are using mainly IE, and a lesser number use Firefox.
For example, the following website will only work with the IE browser.
You can find plug-ins for most website applications at the relevant source, for eg. Adobe. Most websites will re-direct you automatically to the relevant source.
Safari is a neat browser, and can be configured to simulate Firefox, as can Opera. For graphically rich websites it's the best...
