The first buyer in Hong Kong, Ho Kak-yin, holds his new iPhone during the first day of the release July 11. In the United States, purchasers of the second-generation iPhone had problems activating the phones through Apple's online iTunes Store, because network connections were jammed.

Not sure if I should pay the extra $100 for the 16 GB model or if 8 Gig will be more than enough for me?

Milo, my old desk top came with a 16 gig hard drive (and windows98) It was HUGE back in 2000!! Now they can fit that in that likkle phone...

I remember seeing computers that would take up entire rooms back in the 60s &amp; 70s.

The next generation Iphone is rumored to be a 32 GB model.

How old are WE Milo!! I remember them as well. Amazing how FAST technology has moved since then. I remember the Pong &amp; the Walkman being the must haves of the 70s &amp; 80s and everyone was like Then of course the 20 pound mobile phones of the 90s... Had to have a shoulder strap.

I was checking out my niece's new IPod. It looks like the IPhone and works basically the samejust without the phone part. Incredible stuff.

AT&amp;T bought my cell company and so far I am not that impressed with AT&amp;T but the IPhone might make me stay. I do get good service just about anywhere besides home though. I just left the store after checking them out, they are sweet sweet! 200.00 for all that fun is not too bad! My contract is up next month and now I have some conniving to do. It's 67.00 extra for insurance on the phone for 2 years otherwise it has a 1 year warranty.

It's pretty pretty!!!!

I remember mt 1st cell phone was one of the huge bag ones! Then when they came out with the next one it was a huge thing! heavy too, and you needed wan huge purse to carry it!

Anyway, I'm hooked on the phone after just touching it for 5 minutes.

I waited til 96 to get my first cell phone... swore to GAWD I would NEVER get a cell phone OR a computer...
The cell was about a half pound or more and roughly the size of a blackberry, maybe bigger. Analog.

I'll wait for that one, and then attempt to start thinking about getting one. Why? Cause it can hold all the music I currently have. I need to see what its capabilities are.

I dont know if any of you are familiar with the sprint's Instinct, sprint said its better than the iphone in every way.

I'm already on the AT&amp;T network. Matta a fack mi did deh pon all a dem at wan time ar di odda. Dem all ave dem + or - in my opinion.
