so I backed up a bunch of Window's files to a hdrive. I would like to access them on an apple laptop. Any idea what programs out there will let me do this?

you knoe me walk eena de store wid every intention of getting the macbook air...till it was pointed out to me dat de dang ting nu have nu internal DVD drive and a limited amount of USB ports..dat explains why it so thin an lite..even the MAC floor person advised against it..he said if it was to be my main computer I should get the macbook..so that's what i got..
that macbook air sure is sweet doe

You can open just about any Windows file on Macintosh (and vice versa for that matter). One thing that I found doesn't work is Windows does not recognize Mac formatted hard drives. As you copied files from Windows (i.e. it recognized the hard drive), that should not be an issue.
