Evan we must be twins or something. I have recieved one email from one guy begging anybody to have sex with him on yahoo messenger. Then I get another one telling me she would talk dirty while I play with my buddy.

Evan, yuh need to tag di particular e-mail as spam. This will help until they do a variation on the email. Most email client usually do a good job, without you having to delete manually every one that comes in.

Dajah, spoofing (or Phishing Scams) is when they clone it. and make things appear as if it is still the original (source or destination) that you are interacting with. In this case they would make it appear as if it is coming from someone, or some place Evan knows, or is familiar with. However, Evan did say that, she did not know the name of the person the email was addressed to.

What they do sometimes is to try and perk your curiosity, to get you to open the e-mail.

The sender <span style="font-family: 'Arial Black'">[email protected]</span> is using a Blind Carbon Copy (BCC), so to protect all the recipients of the email.
Some email servers will reject mails that don't have a <span style="font-family: 'Arial Black'">From:</span> or a <span style="font-family: 'Arial Black'">To:</span>, so the proper thing to do would be to put your own email addy in both the From: and To: sections and everyone else’s in the<span style="font-family: 'Arial Black'"> BCC</span>:

The Sender is from New England on <span style="font-family: 'Arial Black'">Maine Road Runner</span>.... Do you know anyone who lives in Maine?

Assuming you, use <span style="font-family: 'Arial Black'">Outlook Express </span>to read your emails you can set up rules to read and get your emails.
You can create a folder called Spam for instance and send all mails to <span style="font-family: 'Arial Black'">Spam</span>. Then you make rules for the senders you expect mails from and put them in folders or route them to the <span style="font-family: 'Arial Black'">Inbox:</span>

You can also send all the unknown/untrusted mails directly to the <span style="font-family: 'Arial Black'">Deleted</span> Folder (be careful how you set up your reader(s) to handle mails in the <span style="font-family: 'Arial Black'">Deleted</span> Folder)
