Laptop suddenly stop, it could be something simple as wire disconnect due to ruff handling. Cpu shut down completely few minutes after booting up may cause by fan not running to cool cpu when cpu reach above normal of manufacturer specification it may shut down.

You can check fan wire fi it is disconnect. Look for disconnect wire on circuit board or mother board.

Could be the thermal paste on top of the CPU too. Just need to clean the old stuff, re-apply the new, reattach heat sink and it back up running. Fan could be running, but dirty, so no air moving to CPU or the cooling pipes.

Then there is Malware. Some of the Malware/Virus stuff intriguing to work with. Amazing how some of the stuff buried to mek sure you can't find it.
