<span style="font-family: 'Arial Black'">LOS ANGELES (Reuters)</span> - Time Warner Inc (TWX.N) said on Thursday it will spin off Time Warner Cable (TWC.N), sketching out more details to a plan unveiled in 2008 to split the company's media content and distribution businesses.

The separation will be completed by the end of the current quarter through a &quot;spin-off distribution,&quot; the companies said.

It that god or bad?
I have had RR off and on they were the better than the DSL Option. It the last part there were issues with speed and hardware but they took care of stuff as fast as you reported it.

With the deployment of FiOS and improve speed of wireless.
Today they are competing against FiOS, which is way better than DSL.
So I think that the parent company want to shed them before they lose all their customers to FiOS.

Nope cable and DSL <span style="font-style: italic">(which was always limited anyway based on the fact that you needed to be near a Telco Substation.)</span> will be here for a while.
Cable and DSL is the new Dial-up.
The DSL people have got even smarter and found a way to up even the widow with her mite by combining it with Wireless, thereby extending its reach and making it more cost effective both ways.

Mi haff fios an mi noh sure mi like ie...mi might wait for the year to be up and switch back to my other carrier...,*i* noh like how it change the channels it too slow...::
