ISO uncomplicated wireless sound system

I don't know where to start! So I am here hoping you can help

Here's what I want:

• wireless sound system
• gives good sound that I can expand to different rooms in the house ... wirelessly!
• features should include Internet radio, CD player, MP3, Bluetooth, USB, whatever
• ability to control with smart phone app
• AM/FM stations in case there is no Internet

Did I mention it must be mostly wireless? Budget is $500. Expandable components can come later.

Ideas? Brands? The Bose Wave SoundTouch has received mixed reviews

- connected the orb to existing speakers with speaker wire
- connected airplay & orb together
-use iphone app to play music and distribute it over wifi network

AM/FM can be played from iphone APP and if u lose internet u can unplug airplay connection and plug in u iphone

There are no existing stereo speakers. Those are in my son's house. I have a Logitech Internet radio with separate mini speakers and sub-woofer. It is nice. And I can plug in devices to play music and even have an app on smart phone.

But I need more quality sound in different rooms. And I don't like wires and have to find other devices e.g. cd player to add to it. I just want one console.

Yes. Mi hear Sonos a carry di swing dese days. The only problem is that it doesn't have its own dedicated cd player. I know, I know, I am old-fashioned but mi have banz of CDs and mi doan have time to put dem in iTunes and other players.

Not if yuh spend di extra bucks, and use only di wireless units, fi transmit tuh di speakers.
