MSN help-----ima tear mi hair out

I havent been able to log into msn or hotmail from home for the last few days.. i keep getting a message saying my password is incorrect or the sign in name doesnt exist... Yet i can log in from work,.,, I also tried my mommy's email and it wouldnt allow me either.

I cant do without my msn.. mi just deh yah a think hummuch ppl a think i have them blocked.. If yu a read this.. u nuh block mi stop do them things [img]/forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif[/img]

I assume you log in via the msn.com web site? I tried just now and had the same problem. Dont know why. Anyway I could get in from this site:

http://moneycentral.msn.com/home.asp

If you are using OE to get your mail and you have XP SP2 I think there was an issue that caused some users problems. Do a google search and see if you turn up anything.

I had the same problem.. How is ur PC connected to the intenet -- direct via Cable Modem/DSL or via a router?

J-kid a wah mi did seh mek mi get edited uppa top? Anyway yu tek it, i blame it on depression! dwl

try a google search on 'cannot access hotmail'
you will be presented with a few fora
peruse and u may see ur answer.

Sweetheart, yuh noh duh nutten! All I did was added the words MSN in the title so that people can quickly identify di topic. [img]/forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

Check to mek sure your cookie setting in your browser is not set too low.

[img]/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img] I really didnt think about doing a google search,, I did just taht today and after trying a pahzillion things i followed the instructions of this little man, who was seemingly ignored by many ..and low and behold i was able to log in.. not using 6.1 tho, i think is 4.0 but as long as mi can log in mi ok [img]/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

all I did was Click Start, then Run, and entered the following: regsvr32 softpub.dll then clicked OK.. I feel so light

so what was de cause, was it the downloading of service pak 2?

Mi kno sum ppl who studio's get mash up fe de pass couple days aftah dem dungload ee.

fi mi prablem was inna de router.. upgrade firmware & reboot.. downloaded sp2 afta dat

here's what i'd do:

- check for any kind of firewall (windows firewall or other), and check if it blocks access for msn, or the port msn uses.

- Do a virus scan

- See if the msn service is offline
