sound files or themes?

Before I replaced my hard drive, I had some sound files....i think it was a theme called transportation. I don't know where i got them but I would love to have them back.

Does anyone know how to find them. It was just a collection of backgrounds and sound effects that went with a transportation theme.

for example...when I started up my computer a conductor would say.....Allllll Abooooard!

my hubby loved that! Where can I find it?

If you know the name of the package just do a google search.

so...let's say I do a search and find the theme I want...where do I save the file?

Loops, it's part of your Windows program.

Can't remember how to get to it, but I thought it was thru the control panel.
It's called desktop themes and I no longer have it installed.

Try going thru "Display" in the control panel???

1. c:/windows/media

2. c:/windows/media/microsoft office[200 etc.]

However I would have thought when you download your chosen sound theme(s), they would auomatically be placed in the directory at number 1 or 2 above.

To access/change your sound files and themes:
go to your control panel and select sound, speech and audio devices then select change the sound scheme.

thanks folks! I found it Qk...you were right...control panel...desktop themes. It was called travel. My conductor man will be back on the next restart!
