I know they have to have something that you can buy to transfer stuff/data/files from an old computer to a new one, so you dont have to install and unistall.

they have it for cell phones, so they must make it for pc's.

Only thing I can think of is backing up your files onto an external hard drive then uploading to the new PC. I did mine the hard way. I uploaded my files to box.net then downloaded them.

a while back you had a device the same as me that did this...Belkin Transfer Cable. This should be able to do what you need

Do you still have this, or is the above file transferring you want to do now different from back then?

Use Alohabob, or Laplink, type of software.
