Fram mi download ie mi been getting a message that I have limited or no connectivity to te internet.
Well today I finally did not have any connectivity and could not log on to the internet and had to call my ISP provider help desk and they had to reset my internet...
Have anyone have that kind of problem since downloading Service pack2

You will need to ensure that the Microsoft Security package will let you make connections over certain unusual TCP ports.

For all users, you need the ports for FTP (21), mail (SMTP, 25), Web access (80), mail (POP3, 110), and Secure Web access (443). Your computer always starts the connections, so you don't need to enable *incoming* connections, only *outgoing* connections.
