OMG!...my laptop went through the xray machine........

at the airport & now I'm getting a message that says "battery critically low"....connect to power supply or get new battery!.....when I plug it in, the little light on the front flashes yellow, on & off.....what should I do?

My wireless card was NOT in it when it went through xray...HELP

Time is of the essense...I'm on a library pc right now

i don't think the x-ray machine will harm it, u just have to recharge your battery~!

did you carry your power cord with you? you can always find an outlet somewhere in an airport waiting area to plug the computer in while you're waiting aorund to board your flight

What I'm saying is that when I plug it into an outlet, the battery does not charge....I get a flashing yellow lite instead of a steady green one on the front of the PC!

dang. i don't think there's anything u can do now but plug it in to use it, and take it to a store for them to check out when you reach where u going.

maybe u could try removing and re-inserting the battery?

how long was the charger plugged into the outlet? The battery could need more charging to be past 'its critical state' i think

I AM where I'm going, but have to wait for my transportation to come home from work....do you think somewhere like Circuit City would be able to help me?.....I tried getting answers from Dell online but don't have one of the #'s they needed cause I don't have the pc with me....don't you just know I wrote down 20 numbers but not the RIGHT one!!....maybe I should just call Dell when I go back to the house....

going thru the x-ray machine shouldnt affect your laptop.

I agree with Kia, it seems like it needs recharging beyond the critical state. I have done that a few times myself.
