<span style="color: #3333FF">Okay, so I'm thinking that at least part of the problem I'm having with my desktop has to do with Windows updates. I haven't had a Windows update in many months, probably close to a year.
I had that stupid Windows Genuine Advantage at one point and I was getting a message that my Windows was not genuine, even though it is. So I disabled the WGA program and now I'm thinking that there is no way to authenticate my Windows and therefore no way to get any Windows updates.
Any suggestions? </span>
