Little Accident

how worried should I be?

I just spilled some Mike's Hard Lemonade on my laptop keyboard

As quickly as my reflexes allowed, I flipped over my laptop and drained the liquid off and then wiped it down.

However, the keys are kind of sticking and not doing as I command....Is there a way to prevent the sticky liquid from frying my keyboard any further

Turn it off. Keep pressing the key so when the fluid dries the keys are movable.

It will indeed fry your keyboard no joke and I would have stick mine is a fridge for 30 seconds, but I would not advise you to do that.

If you can pry off the keep you, you can swab the area down with a slightly moist, with as least 70% alcohol to prevent any of the stuff from bridging out sensitive contacts.

alright, I did get it off and cleaned the mess under it.

not perfect but it is working much better than before

This is for the braver ones here. I personally, IF IT WAS MY OWN. I would dismantle the keyboard from the laptop and soak it down with water, as soon as possible. Blow it out with compresses air. Then put it to sit below the windshield of my car locked up in the sun for about half day. But, that is crazy me ME!
