For a computer?

If for a computer viewsonic, sony sells nice ones.
Look out for a DPI # or for all purpose monitors the Aspect Ratio #s.

I would go to CNET or EOpinions to compare brands and models.

I have a Dell 17" that's been working pretty good for me. I'm trying my hand at photography and the images show up crystal clear on this thing. Got it on eBay for under $300. A lot of people buy dell's and get the free flat screen monitor, and then sell the two of them separately on eBay.
