CD Burners without computers

Can anyone help me?

A Jamaican friend asked me to check prices regarding CD burners in U.S. that do not require computers. Is there such a thing? Can you direct me to a website with such information? Thanks so much.

I'm sure you have a Guitar Center or a Sam Ash in your area, you can go there and see them in person an even buy them.
They'll be in the recording section.

dats not studio gear suh it's no mi expertise.
IPod is an mp3 player that basically takes the place of the old time walkman.
You can put thousands of hour of music on its hard drive, and take it with you. You can now get devices where the Ipod sit in and the music come through speakers instead of the usual head phones.

I have one that has been great, never made a coaster out of a cd, works very well, copies cds but can also put records and tapes on cd. The main thing to know about these is that you cannot copy onto regular cdrs with them, they will only burn to "Music" or "Audio" cds which cost a little more.

I got this one for my husband who loves to burn cds but hates using the computer to do anything. This looks and acts like a stereo component, it plays cds as well.

Mine is a TDK DA-3826 and I think it was about $200-250, 3 or so years ago.

You have a consumer model that is why it will only burn certain cd's.

But as long as you know it's cool still.

RIght, it's a consumer burner. I have a computer burner also but if I am copying a cd I use the consumer one, it's much easier [img]/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

Check your ;ocal Circuit City,or Best Buy,or any place that sells CD and DVD players,it is called a CD Writer and is very cheap ..
You cans also get DVD writers too.
