USB Flash Drive question

I bought a 256MB USB Flash Drive which aids in transferring files.

What I have noticed was it would not transfer more than 7 high level directories from the directory I copied from.. and there seemed to have been a file limit..

The data copied was only 39MB well within the capacity of the disk.

Did I miss something when I read the fine print?

The USB Flash drive is a Sandisk Cruzer Mini

The only thing I can think of is this device requires USB2, and if your computer don't support it that may cause issues. Not sure though since you didnt post your operating system, but at least its something [img]/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]

both computers that use the drive have USB 2.0 one uses XP Pro the other XP Home

I copied the files from the XP Home machine with the intent of using the data on the XP Pro machine

I did do a search on the sandisk site. In the FAQ the response was to create a directory with no explanation

Figures eh? At least it sounds like ya got it fixed, even if it don't make any sense. Mmm Toys!
