JD ...choosing a new laptop

i need to get a new one as mi Latitude is pushing three years...it is a C800 which means diddly to me really except it has been wonderful an mi neva buy it...

but it is slowing dung and i know technology has improved...i get the Dell catalogues but have no clue really

which would be now comparable to wat this one was when it was new? i like the dual cd/floppy disc thingy not to mention being able to watch mi dvds

help...dem having a great sale at the moment and i do believe i want to stay wid Dell or is there one u realllllly rate

Mi nuh rate no dell.
may I suggest a Toshiba or Compact.
Nowadays yuh should get one dat can write to DVD not just play. Also get a widescreen

not compact...mi did buy one a canada an it neva lass mi two monts...how much wi tawking bout fi di toshiba...mi did ha one back in a 1999 ...btw, u get di ting mi post to u

The Dell 9300M comes wid a 17" wide screen and a CD R/W + DVD Burner and meets many ofthe above reqts.

Have had Dells for years and never had a problem.

they dont make laptops with floppy drives anymore. floppys are said to be outdated.

get yourself a widescreen laptop with wireless lan(so you can pick up highspeed internet anywhere if it's not on a protected network- like in a hotel or something). One with atleast 512MB Ram, so that you can have a lot of things open and still not have to worry about being slowed down.
CD R/W + DVD drive comes standard so dont worry about that, althought it wont hurt to make sure u get that.

As JamaicaDaye said computers dont come with Floppy disks as standard anymore. A lot of people use memory sticks which are cheaper to purchase at Staples than from the Dell site. A 256MB memory stick can be had for as little as $24.99

You want 802.11 B or G wireless. Don't sweat dat however, there are aftermarket USB adapters for about $40, if you don't have it built-in.

I don't rate dell nor compact... Dell labtops after a while the mouse start giving you plenty problems...

Most laptop cum wid de cd/dvd but not all can bunn tuh dvd, mek sure yuh get dat.

my compac is poopoo too...i think i want a dell...
