HELP! cookies

Someone is trying to log on to the board, but is having a problem getting the system to recognize their age, because possibly their browser doesn't accept cookies.

How does one change the option to enable one's browser to accept cookies?

Also if you have a firewall you need to adjust the cookie settings and give permission to the browser.
