Something went missing, and I want it back!

This happened to me a while back, but I forget how to fix it...

You know the little bar at the bottom of the browser page that tells you the page is loading? (yes I know, get rid of "Exploder" and get something better!)

I'm sitting here always wondering if I have the page coming at all, and no way to know. Anyone know how to fix this?

OK, so I hated not having the little bar at the bottom of Explorer so I went and got Firefox. So far it's OK, but I have one question....

Do I have to keep changing the 'text size' everytime I open a page or is there a way to set it to be a custom size on demand?

IM, I've never had to change the font on firefox, so can't answer that. But in the future, I believe that the status bar is controlled under the "VIEW" column at the top of Explorer. So you would up where you see "FILE" "EDIT" "VIEW" etc., and click on VIEW which should produce a drop down menu. From there make sure there's a check by "status bar" - if there isn't, click on it and you should see the status bar appear at the very end.

IM - in firefox, choose tool, options, and it is right there on general....select default font etc....

GB, Thanks for the word on the font, I need to make it bigger than it is showing, and heck i hardly ever need glasses!
