Camera Film & Airport Xray Machines.

OK on my last vacation I took both a digital and a disposable 35mm camera with me. The disoposable was for me to take if were going out for a night on the town as I figured if I had one too many and left it somewhere it would be no biggy.

Well I forgot to take it out of my carry-on before xray when returning home and my prints all came back very pinkish. Has anyone else had their film zapped by xray and if so is this what results from such a thing? I'm wondering if it was the actual xray zap or the fault of the precessing lab?

Anyway, thank God for Adobe PhotoShop as I managed to rescue about half of the shots.

Yes this happened to me in the late eighties. All the films were destroyed except the one in the camera.

I have put my cameras, as well as films (exposed and new)through the X-ray machine on many occasions and never had any problem with viewing the final shots.

Thanks Compry, thanks J kid. I feel like talking to the lab that did the processing. Just to make sure they did not screw up.

Dem gwine lie anyway. Dem hav messed up di processing of mi negatives in di past an ah try tek mi fi ediat, bout ah noh fi dem fault. Dem noh realize sey dat photography use tu bi hobby an mi use to develope mi own film and prints dem.
