Have about $50 extra that came on my bill for those 2 weks i was there, from calls i never answered to text messages i never read. now if i try to get a credit they will laugh.

Here's what I do:

Turn off my USA Cingular phone. Buy a Jam. phone card & use my C&W phone and check my messages every few days...if it's important they will call my Jamaica cell phone. As long as the phone is turned off it doesn't charge roaming fees for some reason.

One time a friend used her cell phone there and it was a whopping $900.00 USD....she had her usa business phone transferred to her Ja cellie. She was not too happy with the bill. lol.
