Probably luck or patience, is more like it. you have one or both to be able to survive the infamous Me for all tse years. I bought a couple machines with ME and upgraded them as soon as i could with XP. I got Microsoft not for sale copies of both XP Home, professional and 64. I used up the professionals and 64, but have a couple of the Home versions. All you have to do is to register itafter you load it. My machines with Vista, does not have XP on them,but they can both run on the same machine. VISTA IS THE FIRST os THAT Microsoft ALLOW YOU TO REVERT TO A OLDER MODEL SOFTWARE AND WORK. i WIOULD RECOMMEND YOU WAIT FOR THE WINDOWS 7 THOUGH. but YOU WILL HAVE TO UPGRADE THE Me machine after the Windows 7 comes out. Since you will not be able to access lots of stuff that will abandon the old W98 Kernel for the W2000 Kernel that is being used as the format since XP.

Yes I thinks mi will just wait for Windows 7.

The old Windows ME machine went to the recycle depot a few weeks ago. All I have now is my new laptop runnig Vista.
