Well I do like the <span style="font-weight: bold">Translator</span> app, just makes it easier to achive basic communication when travelling to non-english speaking countries.

Also like the <span style="font-weight: bold">Midomi</span> app. No matter if I'm at a club or listening to the radio or just humming a tune, I can find the name/artist of any song.

I also like playing <span style="font-weight: bold">Pac Man</span>, a throw-back to my youth.

Most times it is good. However, with heavy usage, like on some holidays, you may get some stuttering. If/wen dat happens mi jus switch to Google talk.

Wen ah family member of mine was in Asia several times, dat was di main means of communication with them for the year, and many months dem was ova deh. Mi saved ah whole lotta money pan dat wan. Di video is good too. Di quality depends pan di quality of camera yuh both hav. If dem hav ah crappy camera, den yuh wi get di doo duh end ah di stick.

a why AT&amp;T charge extra fi texting? Mi a scope fi a plan but it come in like mi betta off wid a crackberry and sticking wid vz for the plan prices

The sound quality is fine. I have used it exclusively to call Jamaica. No issues.

There is a free text app call Textplus. It is pretty good if you want to dump the ATT text plan. I use it and have had no issues. I does run banner ads at the bottom of the page but you can barely see them.

If yuh hav data plan pan yuh phone yuh can text smaddi fi free, by going to any ah di well known cell phone carrier web sites. Dem even hav out deh web sites whe yuh can goh wan place fi text ALL customers pan di major carriers.

I just recently started using Skype (after reading about it on this forum) . I downloaded the version to use on my laptop and I have to say it works wonderfully. It's saving me a bundle on long distance!!!

I was weary of downloading Skype on my iPhone (even though it would make the most sense) for the reasson that I have been reading some not so good reviews about it. But I am glad to read here that it seems to work well.

OK so mi download the Skype App on my iPhone now too. Seems to work fine except that I find it takes a few attepts before it will connect you. Sometimes it takes no time at all. Perhaps it depends on the time of day due to heavy usage?
