Hello can any one tell me or explain why whenever i put a cd or dvd in my laptop cd rom, that little option box that pops up to ask you what you want to do does not come up any more,running windows xp home ,please can someone tell or explain what to do,thanks.

Start > click My Computer > right click CD player icon > properties > auto play tab > choose the type action you want from the down arrow field > select "Prompt me each time to choose an action" > OK. You can also just click on the "Restore Defaults" buttton.
