Transfering Favourites list

Getting a new computer in a few days ... need to know how to transfer your "Favourites list" from old to new computer.

Any help you provide would be appreciated ...

DELL - Opitplex - GX270 - windows 2000 (old)

to something HP or COMPAQ probably running XP
or should i switch to Apple ? ? ?

You should have a folder under Cocuments and Settings<User Name>Favorites

Copy all files in that folder to a disc and you are good to go. When you get your new pc just put them back in the same place.

Stay away from Compaq and hp, buy a pc from a local store. Chances are they can tear down your old pc and save parts that can be used to build your new pc (depending on motherboard you may be able to keep ram, hard drive, power supply, vid card, sound card, lan card etc) to save you money. I always suggest you buy local for desktop systems but not laptops.
