Re: Jamaican cell phone
The phone should still be good, but you will need a new SIM.
Didn't see a digicel store at the airport, don't think they have one onsite in Mobay.
Do you live in a city with a Jamaica National office? They sell digicel sim cards and credits.7/5th of all people do not understand fractions.

Re: Jamaican cell phone
There's a small phone shop at the airport, but I don't know if they sell SIM cards...check this link for Digical stores near MoBay....there's one right on the Hip Strip...

Re: Jamaican cell phone
Once you get this new sim it may be best to buy credits regularly If you visit Jamaica frequently. This way you do not have to buy a sim care each time you go down. As Pepper mentioned you can buy it at a Jamaican National (JN) location in the US, Canada or UK. You could also ask a relative in Jamaica to do it regularly if you do not have a JN office near you.Out of Many One People Online
