A friend of mine gave me her pictures to see on a Kodak disk I've tried everything to see her pictures. I tried to download the Kodak program but it won't download. " Well it says that it has downloaded" but nothing.
Can you see any of the file contents on the cd? From the kodak website it says they are stored as a jpg so you should be able to browse the cd and look at the images without the kodak software. Any web browser (IE Firefox Mozilla Opera) can display jpg's so you should be able to view them.
Stick CD in > Start > Search > A search box will open > In the first box type in *.jpg > Leave the 2nd box empty > in the third box use the down arrow to select the cd drive you put the cd in > Hit Search at the bottom.
If there are any jpg pictures on the cd you will get a list of them.
See if that lets ya view them. Just double click on any of the .jpg files that the search finds to open them.
