atleast a suh it seem. It's close to 4 yrs old.
It hyperventilates every now and then. Meaning the processor obviously is getting hot so the fan come on heavy and blows hard and the woola de computah freeze and nuttin works at all. Aftah dat de only way fi stop it is fi force it off.

NOW...it has a huge problem connecting tuh de intahnet. I click on firefox or E8 and it come up with a blank pg and says DONE in de leff bottom kahnah. I put in an address such as http://www.jamaicans.com/forums/ubbthreads.php?ubb=cfrm and it won't link. It will try for bout half a second and den seh DONE.
I've been having to click GO or a link 20 odd times feet fi guh troo.

I called the ISP satdeh mawnin and light demm up bout dem intahnet service and now mi inna toronto and find it a duh de exact sameting here. Mi did tink seh a fi dem modum but all up yasuh de exact sameting a gwaan.
Now mi haffee call back de ISP an seh sarry

Anyhow how dis cyan fix?
Is it a Virus?
Is my internal modum mashup?
A wah?

Like you say, it sounds like it is running hot. I would be looking at giving it a good cleaning and see if that helps.

yes but the system also tells me I don't have enough space on the C drive to do a proper defrag.
I may have to move some things from C to D

It sound like you use uop th emajority of you rhard drive. That is what it sound like when you first posted, but you did not give enough info. Not specially you know. I will ager that nothing is wrong witgh the machine other than the hard drive has too little space to wirk with with . 5 Gig on a 50 gig hard drive is not enough. Put in a new HDD and make the new one the operational primary, and make the existing one secondsary. It will run like new, untilk you request info from thefull drive. That will always be slower.
The first thing you learn in comouters, is that it does not use it's hard drives efficientlywhen they are nearly full.It slows the puter to a crawl.
