IPhone -IPhone Unlocking Feature for iPhone 3Gs, 3.0.1 Debuts

IPHONE UNLOCKING LTD reportedly introduced the latest version of its utility software, iPhone Unlocking, which has been recently upgraded and is compatible with Apple’s (News - Alert) latest iPhone firmware version 3.0.1 and the latest iPhone 3Gs.
So what is the big deal about unlocking an iPhone (News - Alert)? In different countries the iPhone’s wireless communications usage is limited to particular telecom carriers such as AT&T in the U.S. and Airtel (News - Alert) in India. However, with an unlocking software one can break free from the confines of the official carriers and use third party services by replacing the official Subscriber Identity Module card with any carrier service’s SIM card.
Officials at the company said that its various versions of the software since the launch in 2007 have been so popular that these have been downloaded by more than one million customers worldwide located in over 145 countries, and still counting. The latest version of iPhone Unlocking can lock any type of iPhone since production of this significantly popular device began.
Making utility software for the iPhone makes sound marketing sense because trends indicate that among smart phones, the iPhone is the most popular because it has captured nearly 50 percent of the U.S. and Canadian Smartphone market, and 33 percent of global smartphone market.
So popular are any models of the iPhone that CashforiPhones reportedly announced it is willing to cough up nearly $300 for each used 2G and, or 3G iPhone provided the phones are not be broken in any way, and this possibly includes no cracks on the casing and definitely no cracks or liquid spread on the touchscreen interface. If the phones are abused, inadvertently or otherwise, then the premium drops according to damages incurred. The company even provides the pre-paid, insured shipping box and packing materials, once the seller receives a quote at the company’s dedicated Web site, he or she can receive a check or even an instant Paypal deposit.
And, among consumer electronic devices, smart phones are the gizmos that have a demand in the current down economy as evidenced by the following commentary: 1.21 billion mobile handsets, including 171 million smart phones, were sold in the year 2008 resulting in a 5.4 percent increase in sales over the previous year, and with other handset sales struggling to grow substantially, companies are ramping up their marketing strategy for selling smart phones. This, coupled with a reasonable consumer acceptance in Q408, augurs well for the future of smart phones. Additionally, consumers feel that they are getting a lot of devices and utilities rolled into one carry-anywhere- access-anything-use-anytime advantage.
IPHONE UNLOCKING said that the software has a feature called ‘Relock’ that helps the users to relock their iPhones to ensure that the warranty on the iPhones remains valid. This is usually done when a customer thinks their iPhone is coming in for costly repairs and to avoid detection of earlier unlocking the iPhone, they can use the relock option provided they are still signed up with AT& T in the US.
Another key feature called ‘Jailbreak’ allows users to break free from particular types of file systems authorized by Apple and download almost anything else that was not previously allowed. Unfortunately, this feature sometimes bars the user from availing some App Store applications, but IPHONE UNLOCKING guarantees that the iPhone works as smoothly and uninterrupted as when it was first bought from AT&T (News - Alert).
The company said that its unlocking feature extends even to other iPhone beta firmware options and claims to be safe from bricking the iPhone. Bricking may occur when an iPhone is unlocked and Apple claims that unlocking of iPhones will surely result in irreparable damage and some stores are even refusing to service unlocked iPhones.
Officials said that they have resolved all text messaging related issues that were previously experienced once an iPhone was unlocked, and have also cracked the drastically reduced battery life problem. Another claim is that users get 100 percent money back if not satisfied. However, there does not appear to be any evidence of the company offering to pay for a possibly damaged iPhone that service centers refuse to take back.
