Dr. Olsen is starting his speaking engagement at his grandsons' preschool and we parents have the opportunity to meet him, hear his story and see the items he used in space. This is a far better than driving all the way to the Air & Space Museum!

That should be a very good guest speaker. It takes a lot of nerve to strap yourself into a rocket and hit the launch button. Most of us think 'yeah I want to go to space' but think about it. How scary would it be to go through with a launch? I think its great that he is speaking to kids, they need a hero to tell them 'You can be anything you want'.

When he asked the 3-5 yr olds how big they thought an atom was they all answered, 'about the size of a molecule!!'

The kids were well prepped for his visit and I am sure his grandson was pleased as punch!
