It depends on if you are storing the laptop for long periods. If so, fully charge it and pull the battery out. Do not let lit-ion batt sit in discharge state for long periods.

Yup, mine has that feature too. It is nice fi true. Just a quick swipe of the finger to log in to your system and also to log in pretty much anywhere on the web.

okay I checked my new equipment and I have a lit-ion battery.

so what does it mean not to let it sit in a state of discharge for long periods?

i too have a IBM, me hear say dem is de bessss, and cust service,

i think if u not using ur laptop and it sitting idle for a long period of time, u should take out the battery...a so JK, like others say, theirs is plugged in most of the times, and dem no badda wid thinking about the battery~~

ah okay. had a brain fart so my comprehension was off

mine ran be about 2,400 CDN - that included 200 for a laptop stand.

I have heard nuttin but great reviews about these machines and so far it is a dream

far better than the stresss I go thru setting up my previous Dells

I am just about done. The installation set up was a breeze with how they do stuff.

The programs I need to add are loading quickly without issue so another hour should take care of everything.
