Annowing yellow ting weh pop up up top...

So mi use to have nice nice IE7 and they made me upgrade to IE8. Which had some nice features but it had two annoying features that made me disconnect it.

1. In a post reply if you types more than what's in the box, it wouldn't show you as you continute typing.

2. One annoying yellow line show up on top with a "blip" sounds weh tell me seh:

Mi affi click it and then try again. This happens when mi try post a image, video or link on the board.


So mi seh bun fyah pan IE8 and switch back to IE7. The box overflow problems fixed but mi still getting the yellow warning ting on top. Wah mi fi do?

click on the drop down arrow to the side and expand the box so you can type/chat more.

Thanks Nylah. Well that no longer is a problem caw it only did bodda mi with the IE8. It neva have this problem on IE7, and mi back to using it.

Is the yellow warning weh a gi mi chobble now eno!
So if mi waan post a link, mi click link, yellow thing come up, mi affi select , yes allow de ting dem deh, then mi affi go back and click link again. It so much work to roam board lane now.

the only solution to that is to drop your security settings to allow scripts to run without prompting. I tried that for a minute but had to swtich back cause too many things get thru when you allow for script prompts

so unless them other rocket scientist have one next solution, you gonna have to live with it like I have to

Mi neva have the yellow before an mi neva did get a virus or sickniss.

Caw mi have Norton eno.
So maybe the IE8 change up mi security settings an now de IE7 never default to previous setting.

yes puttus

i have Norton as well but my IE7 settings were in place properly and I would get the script prompt with it too.

minimum medium-high and then set to high when I am making certain movements.

so if you are at medium- high right now then that is why the script prompt is coming up. This settting will ask you first before it allows them.

so you may want to drop to medium to get rid of the prompty.
