That do not call list is crap.

I put all my numbers on it when it first came out only now to have more telemarketers than before call me They make the list public and then companies actually purchase the list outside Canada and resell it back to Canadian companies. Until they close the loop hole the list is a goldmine for telemarketers. I am surprised none of you Canadians didnt catch this on CBC as well.

Lawd Emperah yu really cold, endorsing other peeps to put their name on a DNC list then turn around and say you only giving information and you doan put your name

Jkid you said as soon as they call you hang up...<span style="font-weight: bold">wrong move </span>all that happens is that they code the call as <span style="font-weight: bold">hangup</span> <span style="font-weight: bold">or not interested </span>then in another 2 weeks to a month you will get another call.

You have to say please remove my name from your calling list, they will then apologize and read you the DNC declaration that goes something like this...

<span style="font-style: italic">Mr/Mrs Jones we do apologize for calling you we were not aware the you do not wish to be called and we will add your name to our DNC list please allow thirty days for this to take effect. (Insert Name of Insttution yahso)values your business, and even if you hangup on them by law they have to finish this spiel</span> Also remember all those calls are taped so if consumer decide to take action they can actually pull the recording. If they do not have the recording they in big trouble. Remember never hangup you will get called again from that company....this is a fact.

Back in the day think I was 14 or 15 my granpere had a call centre I would work there in summer holidays...got treated as the Boss grnadawta....lawd memories when I am trying to make my quota and yu hang up pon mi I would press redial call yu back and cuss yu awf. Lawd me get inna a trubble big time granpere had to pay a ooman some money to silence her from gwine to the I think some communication body, that is how I know the calls were recorded, when they said they going to pull recording for that date lawd I almost pee me pants. I got some licks from my granmere. I can laugh now but when that wooden spoon made contact wid me rear it was not pretty

Anyway just perusing the board and reading all the old threads, it will take my senses off murdering someone
