well my laptop is pooched...and i don't want one with Vista...so i'd say i'll be trying out W7 within a week.

I hate Vista with an everloving passion That OS killed my productivity like crazy until I un-installed it

so I was scared of W7 like you wouldnt believe but a client runs it at their office and it is a dream. Still fairly fast (a *little* slower than XP but nuttin to complain about at all) and has zero instability issues.

I am thinking about it for the desktop but based on the upgrade analysis report I am not so sure.

What is a graphics adapter, how difficult is it to install and how much does a new one cost.

Then updating the other computer but that should not be as hard as it is Vista

Yeah, mi ah goh try si if mi caa wuk ah ting an ting an buy ah copy. Mi ah goh jump straight past Vista, even though mi played wid it from time tuh time.
