Yes, I'm realizing now that I should have followed my instincts and purchased a Mac instead of a dyang PC!!!

i hear u milo, i'm not gettin a next laptop UNLESS it's Mac.

the one i have now is a used Dell that was given to me dead as a doornail, which i rebuilt from scratch. It still works great for now, so i'm not buyin anything else til i can afford a MacBook. XP is already bad enough, i'm sure as hayl not gonna venture into the bugland of Vista or Windows 7. i'm so over it with microsoft.

I only know one person who has a Mac and he loves it.
But it just seems so...no PC.
I don't think I could get used to it.

The look may be a little different, the termanology may be a little different but the transition from PC to Mac is virtually seamless for the average person.

So true...

I used a Sony Vaio from 2004 til sometime early 2009. I had liked it. XP. But when I downloaded the beta IE8, I started having trouble. When I deleted it, I started having big troubles. So I bought another Vaio with the new Vista. I sent it back the day after it arrived. I was so poed. It was a jumble of decisions that you have to make that drove me nuts. I went to my local Apple dealer and bought a refurbished MacBook Pro 18 in laptop. Learning the new OS was a breeze. And the truly greatest thing is you don't have to worry about viruses. No MacAfee or Symantic crap!
