i was told that i have a mac pro arriving from the factory on tuesday
well my older home workhorse was on its last legs and the virus' were beginning to get on my nerves.
i found the cd's that i can use to wipe the hard drive clean and set the computer to the settings the computer had when i first purchased it.

now i am going to put it on ebay for parts...<span style="font-weight: bold">how much you think i could really get for it?</span> just dont want to trash it.

gateway 17 inch, windows 98, intel (not duo core), mi cyan memba the rest...

Trash it. Find out where you can take it to be recycled and/or safely disposed.

You can turn it into a print server or recycle the parts. It no worth anything. Microsoft don't even support that version anymore.

so what if di computer is like 6 or 7 years old... so nutten in di computer AT ALL is salvageable? what di recycle people do wid computer when dem get it? dem muss mek some kinna money off ah wah dem get.

I am sure tuff gong will tell you it good for parts

you can sell on ebay but memba ebay a tek dem cut, den u have the time fi pack &amp; ship it so think about how much you will clear

Go into System Information and post what processor it have and how much physical memory. Den we will know what it really worth.
