lawd I must be too ole to embrace change..cause nu matta how economically feasible the verizon fios offer is..me cyaan bring me self to switch over and give up the channels me used to.. like NY1... (and the AFrica Channel)..on the flip side Verizon does have BBC America <span style="font-weight: bold">and BBC World News</span>

anyways..me feel likkle betta cause I got TW to drap the bill by about $24 p/m fe de next 12 months...dem softening up..cause when I approach their customer retention dept several mths ago they wanted a 2 yr contract for a slight lower price..guess Verizon fios a nyam dem suppa in 12 mths they should be softened up even more

anyways..anyone made the switch from TWC to Verizon FIOS?

i now have SHO &amp; HBO free

looks like is about $25 dem have to play with all around..

my bldg is FIOS ready now..

yu can do w/o NY1?

In 12 months are as soon as they are OKed by congress, TW will be owned by Comcast the largest cabale companyso far .

mi nuh watch ny1, the only time mi ketch it is when mi reset mi box and it automatically tun on to dat channel-dat is the default channel, and sometime mi a look fi weather quick quick.

oddawise mi nuh watch dat channel sah. dough mi cant seem to get rid a it cause sometime CNN headlines (ch 58 TWC) show clips of ny1

So is de city everybody live in? What about Cablevision? Dem have the 3 in 1 deal for 99.99 for two years. I have that right now AND HD is free - even doh mi nuh have nouh HD tv.

But hey - check dem out - and you can leave anytime u want. Right now I pay 120 for phone cable and dsl (with 2 DVR)

Aldough wan time mi was ready fi gi smaddi some seriously cussing, an mi get dis very polite an chatty Jacan Lady. Shi help straighten out all di promblems right deh pan di phone. Yuh kno, wi end up ah chat fi bout 45min in between har helpin me, bout dis and dat. Mi sey si ooman jus defused mi, shi let all di air right outa mi sails. Shi had mi eating outa har hands.

Could not get mad wid har even if I wanted tuh.

Gen and I are in brooklyn..but mek me tell yu..i give thanks that my I'm in the TW zone..nu offense but I think CV programming is horrible..plus dem just drap Food Network and summen else

I am a proud FIOS user..bolted lef Direct Tv and Comcast.
FIOS technology is more 21rst century anyway..

Was tired of outtages with DirectTV when lickle rain a fall Because FIOS wires are underground, service interruptions are next to none and the technicians can solve problems by phone (computerized srvice) and yuh noh have to tek a whole day a wait pan noh Cable guy
