Unu might can memba one a mi post a while ago bout how mi a debate between BB and iPhone.

Well mi fly with one iPhone-owning pilot who for the duration of the 10hr42min flight jus a gwaan brag bout his iPhone tappanaris, an it can do dis, and it can do dat, and how him use to keep one BB but dash it weh, an here hold it nuh, see how nice it hole? an see how fast de screen change, and de gazzilion application him download fi one dalla on and on and on.

So all now mi go a de mall an get on 3Gs 32MB sintin.

So all now (apart from being broke) mi cyaan figure out how to transfer my contact from me old Nokia 78 to dis ya contraption.

I doan know
I have my contacts in gmail and then I connected via the microsoft exchange option (search in gmail for the steps) to transfer the data from my gmail contacts to my iphone contacts

btw it works for mail & calendar too

I did RTFM

First I couldn't figure out where to open de ting to insert my sim card. I googled it, and a nice Indian man has a video on how to do that.

Then I try to avoid RTFM and use the blue teet do sync the contacts (worked with previous phone) but not with iPhone.

So then mi did DL the 101 page FM, and it has no mention of transfering from a soso Nokia.

So I think I got no choice but manually move all numbers from old phone to Gmail then to iPhone.

Google <span style="font-weight: bold">iPhone</span> and <span style="font-weight: bold">forum</span>. I'm positive you will find a forum similar to this one with the answer you seek. I had to do that with the BB. There was absolutely nothing in the manual regarding a particular icon.

Tanks Kia but my problem is that my contacts are not in google, or on my computer in any form of fashion,. So none of these steps can transfer the contact from my old phone to the iPhone.

And mi miss the thread caw everytime I come in to Tech Forum is an emergency an mi de pon haste.

can you connect the nokia to the laptop and then move the contacts folder to the laptop?

if you can do that then you can import the contacts into itunes and from itunes to the iphone
