Seriously, though, Xavier needs to get a CSS for mobiles in general. You can't do anything with the forum if you're not on full size computer.

Compare mobile.salon.com to salon.com on Safari for example. Even if you zoom the latter, the site is far more navigable on a phone from the mobile.salon.com URL.

Glad you haven't taken the iPhone back though. It's such a great device.

I like the thing, I just wish I had time to play with it!

Anyway, so last night I downloaded ITunes onto my laptop, and attempted to transfer my Ipod to the ITunes so I could put them on my IPhone.

It sounded simple enough!

I ended up erasing my IPod!



Today I'll hook up an old computer so that I may get my tunes back and while I'm at it I'll add them to the phone. lol.

My aunt did that erasing thing with her iPod too. She bex bad when it happen, lol. After a few years and few mistakes with erasing music with her iTunes, she is finally using alternate tools to do stuff, other than the iTunes. My initial impression with playing with iTunes is that it takes a little getting used to the 'apple' way of doing things. Things that come naturally to a long time dos/windows user, takes some thinking until you learn the apple way of doing things. I'm waiting on dem next gen iPhone this summer to see if I'm going to go to de apple way. Have to admit, the apps selection is pretty good. Win Mobile 7 is coming out, but MS playing catch up.

I haven't hooked up my old puter yet to retrieve my ITunes. I think I have a CD backup but I'm not at all sure how to work that. I'm tellin ya, if i have to start over and load all the CD's again it will take me days and days. I haven't had time to set the whole phone up yet but looking at a little respite next week with more time to play.

ANyway, sometimes I notice it is not too quick to go side ways when I turn it. Is this normal or do I have a dud phone?

I have cd's on ITunes that I imported from hard copy CD's.

I plugged the phone in and it said is synching. I go to look for the tunes and it says there are none. wah.

I failed.

If you load the CD to your hard drive before you sinc to it,it is not in the format the Iphone is searching.
probably the file it is in is not labeled with an appropriate itunes tag. or something.

Try finding the file.
then with the IPod plugged in , right click on the file.
Then scroll down to 'download directly to ITUNES'.

CSS is a source code language, that work on to HTML, somewhat like JAVA, or Java script.
it is dedesigned to adopt pages to look better on on appliances other than 'Puters.

I have a lot of CD'sloaded on itunes, I plug in Iphone...nuttin. Remember, this is the eeediot who deleted her IPod by accident.
