This Internet-Optimizer Thingy

Sometimes when I click on a site it automatically goes to the below address. Even if its hotmail.com or whatever. I was trying to upload some photos and in the middle of that it went to the below site all by itself and when I click my back button the photos were gone and I had to start all over again - and it did it again and again. Run a spyware/adware check and see what comes up. I'd also run a virus check to see if there is anything going on.

What browser are you using? Firefox, IE, Opera....?

I would suggest only using IE to run windows update, for all your other surfing needs I advise Firefox. Its free and much safer (and has less annoying problems like IE has). If you are dead set on using IE then install a popup blocker (I used to use WebWasher with varied success), anti virus (AVG has a free home product that's good), firewall (ZoneAlarm is free for most home users), and last but not least get Spybot and Adaware to scan for any adware/malware that your virus scanner misses.
