Twunk16... True Sword???

Keep finding this Twunk16... so I do a search and get a site for True Sword.
Says it'll clean it out and that it's some kind of spyware.
Anyone ever heard of it?
They have a free version/trial, that they promise will clean up the mess.

never heard of it, I wouldnt install it. Only install something like this when you decide you want something and go look for it. If you are presented with popups promising to 'fix' something I'd skip it...probably a scam/malware. I trust Spybot and Adware and its what I advise clients to use to find these types of infections.

homepage hijack...its when they change your default home page (up above when you hit "Home", you know the little house looking thing). So when you start up firefox your homepage auto-loads, so what they do is change your default page to their site instead of the one you entered when you setup firefox. Thus a browser homepage hijack.

twunk16 if, if I remember correctly, the windoze scanner driver..but a 16 bit one. twunk32 is the 32 bit version.

Or so it was on my puter.
