HP All In One

I have a HP officejet 6310 all in one printer and di scanner has stopped working. I have the original cd that HP sent me and mi log on to dem site and dungload all the updates/fixes that apply but the scanner drivers will not load for nothing. MY OS is Vista home premium.

Mi have di printer fi bout 2 yrs now an it did work when mi firs get ie but ie jus stap soh. Wha fi try nex?

I do have a work-around way of scanning but me'da like know why mi cyaan scan directly to mi puta.

is the scanner software compatible with your windows os?

Yes. It worked b4 and all di drivers are on the same cd, once mi put it een, everyting suppose to install. Fi some reason, only the printer and fax drivers install and skip di scanner ones

Do u have the same model as me? If so u have a slot for a SD card. What I have to do now is scan to a sd card and then load from the card to my pc.

I ha de all in one C6280 and 3 times I've had to reinstall the whole ting all over again caz all a sudden de ting seh it nuh deh pan line ar sittine else.
It's very annoying cah yuh dungload dem updates an aftah de update dem de ting wukk two time an stop wukk.

Mi did have dah prablem yah to, sometimes mi go fi print sitten an di damn printa gaan offa mi puta , haffi tap weh mi a do fi re-install di ting all ova again. Dem sey it's a commmnication issue wid Vista an dem...dem have fixes pan dem site fi it....well since mi install di fix, it <span style="font-style: italic">seems </span> to be working. Ongle di scanna a mi prablem now.

That's why I was reluctant to purchase the all in one.


Let's hope I don't have any issues. I would check to see if there are any updates on the model that you have. You should get an HP pop up every now and then notifying you of upgrades.

If the issue remains after the upgrade, I would uninstall, reboot your system and reinstall the software.

Trus mi sey mi do all a dat aready.

I do get the pop ups informing me of new updates an such. None a dem noh seem fi fix di scanna issue.

If user account security is currently enabled, disable it. Requires a reboot. Try dat then reinstall the drivers.

(From memory. might be missing a step...) Control panel-&gt;users-&gt;user account security. Uncheck the box-&gt;Reboot.

Edit: Also check for *.tmp files and delete them.
