For a long time now I have been thinking about getting an external drive. Yesterday my boss comes to me with a plastic bag and says she bought these "things" but her computer does not support them because she has an older laptop that does not have USB 2.0.. She says if I can find use for them I can have dem both.

So I look in the bag and there are <span style="font-weight: bold">TWO</span> of these in there.

Honestly, I don't think I am going to be working there much longer, either I am going to get fed up and leave or they get fed up with me and boot me out the door, so at least I get a nice little parting gift.

I have a 500 which is full. I attached a 1TB to my computer and it freeze the system (vista). Anyone encountered that before?

I could have told her to go to Best Buy and pick up a hub with its own power adapter for $20, then plug the external drive into that and it would work fine for her needs. But really, why bother? .

It's not like I lied or anything. I just didn't offer information.

Shame!!

I have a pc running XP and everytime mi insert a flash drive or anything storing info de pc freeze up. Mice, printers etc work well with usb connections though, so mi nuh know wah de matta really is.

Yeah and I haven't had the time to REALLY check it out. Granted the pc is old, but if it have usb ports dem ought to work. If I hear anything I will let you know.
