Re-setting display properties

I came in this a.m to find that my computer's display properties have been reset. The problem is that I cannot re-adjust them.


For eg, for the screen area, it won't let me move my arrow from less to more. Currently I've got 1024 x 768 pixels (and it won't let me adjust that).

Well first off the reason this usually happens is your battery is dead, so replace that battery as soon as ya can.

As far as not being able to adjust the properties goes try updating your video drivers. If that dont get it then go into your device manager and delete the video card, then exit and reboot. Windows should spot the missing hardware and reinstall it. Then you can try adjusting it again.

Thanks for the help. I had someone else take a look and so far it seems to be back to normal...

Well actually, now my fonts seem to be too big, but I guess that's better than being too small...

Maybe you will need to consult your Doctor or a Specialist for that particular ailment! [img]/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]
