my new cell phone

ok I got Ericcson Z520 (?) recently and had it in my pocket and pass by my tv which was off and it turn it on- how that mi is confused.
It also turn on mi radio that was off?
Will these things cause shocks to mi body [img]/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif[/img]

Can anyone say "Terminator" where the machines have evolved to the point that humans have become extinct. That's really odd. I've never heard of it happening before but that phone does have an infrared transmitter and if it was 'seeking' a connection (like to a PC, or another phone) then it may affect other devices equipped with infrared (TV, Stereo, etc).

For now you can check your phone manual on how to turn off infrared when not in use, that should prevent it from intefering with other devices.

Other than that try one of the cell phone discussion websites, there is tons of good info out there. I visit one site from time to time that helped me hack my cellphone. You'd be suprised what these things can really do if you put your mind to it.

infrared won't work in your pocket or purse, but RF will. Sounds somehow like the TV and radio remote frequency is on the same wavelength as your phone. I am assuming your radio also has a remote control for it?
