CLEVELAND - A YouTube video from an old Charlie Chaplin film is a hot topic online, and has people asking an odd question.

Is a woman in the video using a cell phone?

In the black-and-white film, a woman is walking down the street with her hand up next to her ear. She appears to be holding an object in her hand, which looks like a modern-day cell phone.

The catch is that the film was made in 1928.

So far, nobody has an explanation for what is in the woman’s hand, but it does look similar to a cell phone.

so dem think she did have a special cell phone dat could call thru time? or she carry back the cell phone infrastructure wid her too ..wonder who she could have been calling

dem seh is probably an old hearing aid she was using, like this one hear from 1924

Why would it be through time why not from a more technically advanced universe ???

I saw it yesterday... I wonder if it was one of those weird medical interventions that were around at the begining of the last centuary... lump of copper reducing swelling ????
